When the specific form of the vitamin comes into contact with the skin, the skin’s a-glucosidase enzyme breaks down the AA2G and releases the Vitamin C. The AA2G enhances collagen synthesis in fibroblasts, reduces discolorations, erythema and edema from solar radiation, free radicals, expression lines and wrinkles.
